How to play Lane Rush
Lane Rush takes ten seconds to learn. Your runner never stops – you only decide where to go and when to jump or slide.
- Press Play. Your runner starts running down a three-lane road automatically.
- Switch lanes to dodge tall blocks: swipe left or right, or use the arrow keys.
- Jump over low striped hurdles with a swipe up, the Up arrow, W or Space.
- Slide under overhead bars with a swipe down or the Down arrow / S.
- Collect coins on the way. Every coin adds 10 points and brings you closer to new characters.
- Survive as long as you can. One crash ends the run, so tap Play again and beat your best score.

Obstacles and how to beat them
Tall blocks
Solid towers you cannot jump or slide past. Move to another lane in time.
Low hurdles
Yellow-and-black striped barriers on the ground. Jump over them.
Overhead bars
Neon bars with warning stripes floating at head height. Slide underneath.
Every row always has at least one safe path, so there is always a way through. The challenge is reacting in time.
Score, coins and characters
Your score is the distance you run in metres plus 10 points for every coin. Your best score is saved on your device.
Coins add up across all your runs. Reach 100, 300, 700 and 1500 lifetime coins to unlock four extra runner skins, then pick your favourite on the main menu.
Levels and difficulty
Every 20 seconds you level up. On each level the runner gets faster, rows of obstacles come closer together, more blocks appear and the city changes colour so you can feel your progress.
Early levels are relaxed so beginners can learn. Later levels need quick lane changes and sharp timing.
Daily Run and streaks
Every day Lane Rush has one Daily Run: the same road for every player, so you can compare scores with friends fairly.
Play it on consecutive days to build a 🔥 streak and keep your best Daily Run score.
Tips to score higher
- Look at the far end of the road, not at your runner, so you can plan your next lane early.
- Do not switch lanes too early. Blocks are long, so wait until you have passed them.
- Stay in the middle lane when unsure; it gives you two escape routes.
- Grab coins when it is safe, but never risk a crash for a single coin.
- Slide while still in the air to drop to the ground quickly before a bar.
- Pause with P or Esc if you get interrupted. The game also pauses when you switch tabs.
